FULL GROOM : A full brush out before bathing, this removes the ‘dead coat’. Then they have a luxurious bath and blow dry. Ears are then cleaned and plucked. This is important to provide ventilation to the ear and stop unwanted build up and problems. The anal glands are then checked, if not done regularly this can cause discomfort for the dog. Then we match your desires to the extensive library of breed cuts we have or if a regular customer your notes. We then use the latest clippers to provide the necessary styling and fine scissor work or hand stripping to meet yours or the pet standard, if showing the dog. If you want your dog to have the latest styles and cloths, or just want them to be clean and happy, you have come to the right place.
Then nails and dew claws trimmed We also look at the notes we have on the dog and records you have given us, to provide the next stage of care of your pet.
BATH AND DRY: Some dogs don't require styling, so we provide a full brush, bath and dry. Ears are plucked and anal glands checked. Nails and dew claws are then trimmed. Its also important to remove the hair from the paws. This makes for easy inspection of flee darts and other bodies that could cause problems if entangled with the hair.
PUPPY TRIM : Its important to get your puppy used to the grooming process and life long care. We provide a full brush & bathing and a well being check. The coat is given a minimum trim and nails and dew claws are checked, as are the alignment and condition of the teeth.
All treatment are made as relaxing, caring and calming as possible, where its difficult we give love and make it fun. This includes toys in the bath and treats (please inform us of any dietary problems) for good behaviour. Gentle handling and thinking from the pets perspective the key.
